By Colin King, founder of Vintique. This is our comparison, based on public provider documentation and our product, checked September 14, 2026. It is not an independent ranking or a timed performance test.
The case for Vintique
Vintique gives an independent mall a lower regular software subscription than Ricochet's published base price, with plans for small dealer groups through an unlimited roster. Try the item-to-sale and dealer-scheduling workflows to judge the value for your team.
Start with the routines your team repeats: item intake, dealer questions, a return, an unpaid rent balance and next week's floor coverage. Try them together in Vintique, with the staff and dealers who will use it.

Compare the work
Published features are a starting point. “Not documented” means we could not establish the same workflow from the sources below; ask the provider to demonstrate it.
| Workflow | Vintique | Ricochet |
|---|---|---|
| Dealer mobile access Both have mobile access. Compare the tasks each role can complete, not just whether an app exists. | Inventory, sales and scheduling by role on iOS | Ricochet Go consignor access Source |
| Item research and intake Use the same sample item and check what evidence supports the asking price. | Photo lookup, inventory and tag printing | Inventory tools; verify photo-research workflow Source |
| Rent and settlements Run the same month-end example and confirm your rent and commission treatment. | Booth rent tools and dealer statements | Vendor accounts and payouts Source |
| Public inventory Vintique item pages are not a claim of equivalent ecommerce checkout or shipping. | Shareable storefront item pages | Ricochet Web ecommerce offering Source |
| Staff/dealer floor days Include dealers who work floor days in the trial, as well as the cashier. | Signups, coverage planning and time tracking | Confirm in a demonstration Source |
| Switching records Check account numbers, balances, photos and existing tags before the final cutoff. | Assisted spreadsheet review and preview | Confirm export coverage Source |

Check the fit before switching
Ricochet publishes consignor tools, Ricochet Go and Ricochet Web. Include any ecommerce, payment and device requirements in your demonstration. We have not run a timed cashier test and do not rank either register's speed or ease of use from marketing copy.
Vintique's offline queue supports eligible cash sales in an already-loaded register; it does not authorize cards offline. Item research returns listings to review, not guaranteed sold prices. Marketplace drafts require publication on the marketplace. Verify any required integration before relying on it.
