Dealer workdays & staff scheduling

How does scheduling work in Vintique?Vintique brings dealer workdays and staff shifts into one mall calendar. Managers set coverage, workday requirements, and rent rules, then review and publish each work month. Dealers book available days on the web or iPhone; counter staff can book for dealers without a login. Staff confirm completed work, and managers close the month to post earned credits toward later rent bills.

How it works

1
Set the rules and open the month

Choose workday requirements by booth size, the workday rate, and weekly coverage. Review each dealer's work charge and the available places before publishing. Date-specific changes handle holidays and different opening hours.

2
Book a day that has room

Dealers choose eligible floor shifts from the calendar; staff can book their own cashier shifts. At the counter, select a dealer, record cash or check rent, and book their days together. The web and iPhone app follow the same booking rules.

3
Confirm the work and post the credit

After a shift, another staff member confirms dealer attendance. Managers review completed work and qualifying cashier time, then close the finished month. Earned work credits go toward later rent bills, with corrections preserved in the history.

Questions malls ask

Does a dealer need a login or an iPhone to book?

No. An admin or cashier can select the dealer at the counter, record their rent payment, and book an available day. Dealers with a login can also book themselves on the web or in the iPhone app. Paid cashier shifts require a staff login, and staff clock their own paid hours.

Which rent payment opens a work month?

When the mall requires paid rent, the qualifying bill is two months before the work month. For example, fully paying September's bill opens November bookings once November is published. Partial payments and waived bills do not satisfy that rule. Staff cashier shifts are independent of dealer rent; paying rent does not reserve a place automatically.

Does booking a shift automatically reduce rent?

No. Publishing the month adds its work charge. Confirmed dealer attendance or qualifying completed cashier time earns credit under the month's saved rules, up to the required workdays. An admin closes the month to post that credit toward a later bill. Booking alone, or a floor-work clock punch alone, does not earn credit. Rent credits stay separate from sales payouts.
