By Colin King, founder of Vintique. This is our comparison, based on public provider documentation and our product, checked September 14, 2026. It is not an independent ranking or a timed performance test.

The case for Vintique

Vintique is a strong fit for an independent mall that wants the core operating tools without the ongoing cost of SimpleConsign's Vendor Mall Plus package. Put the register, dealer tools and first settlement at the center of your trial.

Start with the routines your team repeats: item intake, dealer questions, a return, an unpaid rent balance and next week's floor coverage. Try them together in Vintique, with the staff and dealers who will use it.

Ownership disclosure: West Michigan Antique Mall is co-owned by Vintique founder Colin King and his wife, Madeline. Read our mall's story.

Check the fit before switching

SimpleConsign advertises a 3D floor map, automated rent, managed migration and an Enterprise offering. Confirm the availability and inclusions for your account. Those capabilities should be evaluated directly rather than described as missing.

Vintique's offline queue supports eligible cash sales in an already-loaded register; it does not authorize cards offline. Item research returns listings to review, not guaranteed sold prices. Marketplace drafts require publication on the marketplace. Verify any required integration before relying on it.
